started out in March of 1999 as a small
division of a San Pedro, CA consumer
retail and service oriented company
established in 1987. We are located in
Harbor City, CA, a suburb of Los Angeles,
located near the Port of Los Angeles. With the sudden
rise in popularity and use of the
Internet as a medium for shopping, we
decided to sample the market with a few
unique products. After observing the
popularity of our products and the number
of visits to our website increasing, we
made the decision to develop Quality
Trading as an independent, Duns and Bradstreet listed, State of
California Incorporated company and to
expand our product line to include those
items which manifested themselves as the
most popular to our visitors.
Utilizing
the years of experience and contacts
established through our general
merchandise and service company, the
acquisition of key personnel, and the
newly cultivated and now, well
established contacts throughout industry,
we have fast become a leader on the
Internet specializing in the unique
seating, inflatables, camping,
recreation, sports equipment and family
oriented recreation industries acquiring
brand name merchandise from industry's
major manufacturers and distributors in
these areas. In addition, we always have
plans on the table for expansion into
other popular market areas and products
with which we can offer the same quality
and low pricing to you, our customers.
Although
the majority of our customers are retail
consumers, we have developed a business
to business and wholesale presence which
includes customers such as The 7 Up
Bottling Company, Tupperware, Los Angeles
County Parks and Recreation Department,

In October
of 2000, because of the high volume of
products being moved by Quality Trading,
we moved into a larger warehouse near the
Port of Angeles in order to maximize
stock levels, which enables us to
purchase higher quantities of the
products our customer demand and desire.
The purchase of higher quantities of
merchandise allows us to purchase at
lower costs per unit. These cost savings
are passed directly to our customers by
the implementation of lowered retail
prices. In addition, we are able to
purchase and stock larger quantities,
including container sized allotments, of
specific products at fantastic prices
allowing us to feature products at prices
that offer fantastic savings to our
customers.
In the
Autumn of 2002, due to our ever rising
increases in business and primarily due
to our high level of customer
satisfaction, we began the process of
obtaining several highly qualified
personnel to fill our key management and
operations positions. In addition, we
have acquired new sophisticated, high end
back office enterprise computer hardware
and software systems in order to operate
our business most effectively and enable
us to maintain our high level of quality
service and customer satisfaction.
Because we
stock every item that we sell, we are not
forced to pay drop shipping or extra
handling charges which are passed on to
consumers by way of higher prices, we do
not have to worry about whether or not or
a supplier might ship an order in a drop
shipping situation and we can readily
check availability of any product we sell
by simply looking on our own shelves.
